Her mission is to empower both dancers and dance educators to realise their full potential.

Justine holds a BA (Hons) in Dance and Related Arts, a PGCE (Post-16), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Dance and Collaborative Arts. With over 32 years of teaching experience across all age groups, she has worked in roles ranging from teacher and Head of Department to director, choreographer, and consultant, with institutions including The BRIT School, BHASVIC, and South Downs College.

For the past two decades, Justine has been a leading CPD course designer and presenter for Keynote Educational, supporting dance teachers with syllabus guidance, curriculum planning, and assessment strategies. She served as a standards verifier for Edexcel’s BTEC Level 2 and 3 qualifications for ten years and was an A Level Dance examiner and moderator for eight years.

Her extensive work with national organisations includes delivering the satellite CAT scheme for The Place and training the BalletBoyz to lead school workshops. As an animateur with Rambert Dance Company for over ten years, Justine created and led workshops, residencies, performance pieces, and INSET training based on the company’s repertoire. She also authored Rambert's 'Elements' Education packs.

In 2015, she was appointed Developer and Writer for the London Curriculum Dance Module in partnership with Sadler’s Wells. This involved researching, devising, and writing content in collaboration with the Pan-London Dance Partnership and the Greater London Authority’s Education team.

As Artistic Director of the West Sussex Youth Dance Company for over a decade, she created ten original choreographic works. Between 2016 and 2017, she collaborated with Twinkl Education to develop an extensive suite of KS3 and KS4 dance teaching resources.

Justine continues to evolve her choreographic voice with support from South East Dance (via their Business Development and Mentoring Schemes, and the Flourish Fund) and Pavilion Dance South West, where she was a Discovery Artist. She also maintained a long-term relationship with Rambert Dance Company as a critical friend and through studio support. Her choreographic work has been commissioned by the Ignition Festival and The Brighton Festival, and presented at notable venues including Siobhan Davies Dance, The Place (London), The Point (Eastleigh), The Showroom (Chichester), Pavilion Dance South West, and The Rose Theatre (Kingston). She has written education resources for Akram Khan’s full-length work with English National Ballet, including their Creature educational pack, and consulted on their Khan retrospective. For Russell Maliphant Dance Company, she developed teaching resources on Two, Silent Lines, and VORTEX.

She has supported the Learning & Participation Team at One Dance UK delivering CPD, authoring educational resources, and articles for their Education Bulletin.

Currently, she continues to lead CPD courses for Keynote Educational, marking her 20th year in 2025. She founded and moderates the widely used Facebook groups Dance Teachers' Agony Aunt and The Dance Teachers’ Toolkit, offering peer support for dance educators across the UK. Justine also serves as an external expert for OFQUAL and is a moderator and team leader for WJEC’s Tech Award. She is currently a writer and review for the new WJEC GCSE in Dance.
